ok, ok, I confess ...

I knew I had been stockpiling my vintage linens
because, frankly, I love them all and I think
on the most subconscious of levels
perhaps ... just maybe ...
I really don't want to part with them ♥

But as the heat of the weekend
kept me indoors,
I finally forced myself to begin to inventory
and photograph them ...
and even I was surprised at just how many I had!

So I fear this could take awhile but
I promise I am working diligently
to bring them all to the shop ...

Here is a snippet of the first blankets
that will be making their way
to the shop this week!

I have had this thing for vintage trailers and campers
ever since I went on my first road trip back in 1993
and drove behind my first shiny Airstream
on my way from California to Oklahoma.

I love to ponder the adventures
of those people peering out at me from their little windows
and create little stories about them ...
it makes the miles go by all the quicker.

I would totally drive this little fellow,
after I cozied up the decor, of course,
with bits of bunting, vintage linens and old flowery dishes.

I love these fabric storage bags.

Alas, I do not know how to sew.

I have the sewing machine

still in the box it came in over a year ago.

I have piles and piles of fabric

staring longingly at me from their shelves.

... perhaps these bags will be my first project ...

And then I will make oodles and oodles of them

and hang them just so from darling little hooks.
